Festival Returnees 2022
Nothing brings us greater joy than seeing Talents alumni return to the Berlinale with films in the official selection, and this year we are over the moon to announce that we have 116 returnees who have played key creative roles in 75 films across the festival. There is an alumni presence in every section, including ten who worked on five films selected for the festival's prestigious Competition programme.
The return of our alumni to the competitive side of the Berlinale encourages us in our mission to promote talent, seeking skilled filmmakers from across the world and creating space for their artistic and professional development. So, let's meet the returnees!
