Pedro Butcher

A journalist and film critic, Pedro Butcher has worked for leading Brazilian newspapers and is now a freelance contributor to Valor Econômico. Since 2016, he has coordinated Talent Press Rio, aimed at emerging Portuguese-speaking critics. He is also part of the selection team of the WIP section of the Tiradentes Film Festival and a collaborator of the coproduction meeting Brasil CineMundi. He also teaches film history and curating at ESPM-RJ.
