Dascha Dauenhauer
Dascha Dauenhauer began playing the piano at the age of five and studied composition at the Moscow Conservatory. At eleven, she became a student in Berlin, held concerts featuring her own works and subsequently received a diploma in music theory and a master’s degree in film music. She is a multi-award-winning composer and producer of film music, including for "Jibril" (Panorama, 2018), "Glück" (Bliss, Panorama, 2021), "Evolution" (Cannes premiere in 2021), "Golda "(Berlinale Special Gala, 2023), "Der Schwarm" (The Swarm, Berlinale Series, 2023), "Tatami" (Orizzonti Venice, 2023 ) and "Berlin Alexanderplatz" (Competition, 2020), for which she won a German Film Award and a European Film Award. In this year’s Berlinale, her work is featuring in "Islands" and "Kein Tier. So Wild". (No Beast. So Fierce.).
