Can digital technologies help us revisit a forgotten, silenced past? What do we know about the neurodiversity paradigm or the representation of autism? How do we observe and measure the consequences of the war in Ukraine? What role can we play in the worldwide action and solidarity against femicide? Doc Station 2023 is proud to present 10 curious, visionary and resilient filmmakers hailing from all parts of the planet, from Brazil to Mexico, Colombia to Ukraine, Iran to India, Myanmar to the Philippines. Weaving together animation and other hybrid elements into more traditional documentary formats, their projects yield a thought-provoking and inspiring snapshot of the world today, and will be presented to an audience of industry professionals, programmers, and funders.
