Jean-Louis Rodrigue, acting coach and movement director, will talk to you about his acting coaching and movement training as well as on how to present your film project. He will explain the fundamental tools needed to improve your levels of performance in film and to present your script to potential producers and studios.
Jean-Louis Rodrigue
An internationally renowned acting coach, movement director, and writer Jean-Louis Rodrigue has worked on many award-winning films, plays, television, opera, and music events. He has worked with Berlinale Talents since 2009, developing the acting programme and mentoring its participants. He has coached Leonardo DiCaprio in “J. Edgar”, Christian Bale in “Vice”, Margot Robbie in “I, Tonya”, "Babylon" and "Barbie", and Kodi Smit-McPhee in Jane Campion’s “The Power of the Dog”. He has co-written a book about his work called “Back to the Body: Infusing Physical Life into Characters in Theatre and Film” that was published in 2023.
