Anaïs Volpé

I'm a screenwriter/filmmaker and an actress. Between 2006 and 2011 I had training in many different theaters as an actress, in Paris. In 2013, I directed my first short film “Blast” that won an (...) Award.Then, I won a grant from the French Institute of Beijing in order to write and shoot my first Crossmedia project "HEIS".HEIS is now finished, this is in the same time a feature film, a series and an art-installation.The feature-film part won the Award of the Best World Fiction Feature Film in the LA FILM FESTIVAL and the CONTREBANDES JURY’s award in the Bordeaux International Film festival (FIFIB). In 2017 the feature film is also selected in Angers Film Festival and in the International Film Festival of Rotterdam in the selection « Bright Future ».The series part of the project won the Award of best Series in The 2016 CrossVideosDays. And The art-installation part has been selected for the 67th Art Selection of « Jeune Creation » in Paris for July 2017. And it has been also received in art galleries in Paris and London in 2016.
I am currently writing the script of my next feature film that has been selected in 2016 Cannes Film Festival « La Maison des Scénaristes » and in the Script Station of the Berlinale 2017.
