Angello was born in Bogotá, Colombia and studied filmmaking at ESCAC in Barcelona. He works as a filmmaker and cinematographer who actively balance narrative, documentary and commercial work. His latest shortfilm DULCE (2018) released by New York Times Op Docs has been selected in Sundance, Toronto, IDFA, among other film festivals and won Best Documentary at Palm Springs Film Fest and Gran Prix at Tampere Film Festival. His latest feature documentary as cinematographer LAPÜ (2019) had its World Premiere at Sundance and the European Premiere at the Berlinale and won Best Cinematography at the Boston Film Festival. Nowadays Angello is shooting his next feature film in New Delhi, India.
