Anna Sarukhanova was born in Tbilisi. She graduated Higher Courses of scriptwriters and directors and now finishes master’s program of film directing in London Film School. From 2010 to 2016, she shot several music videos and fashion films; had a traineeship on the set of Otar Iosseliani film “Chantrapas”. In 2015 her short film “To Get In” was an official selection of the Doclisboa International Film Festival. (Portugal). In 2015 Anna filmed 20 episodes (1st season) of “Luisa Lozhkina’s Diary” TV series. In 2016, her movie “Till The End Of The Day” was selected to be premiered in the Locarno film festival (Pardi di Domani competition). In 2017, the short film “The Perfect Order” was in a competition of Sarajevo film festival. In 2018 Anna took part in the Berlinale Talents. From 2018 till now Anna shot several short documentary films for internet media platform “Chai-khana” (www.chai-khana.org) funded by the UK Government. In 2022 Anna finished her first feature film "Inconceivable light". In 2023 her short film “In one Year” was screened on German TV - 3Sat and ZDF.
