I am a Moscow-based producer and screenwriter. I am a doctor by my first education and a filmmaker by my second. Currently I am getting my PhD degree, working on a dissertation on the specifics of the superhero comics film adaptation. In 2014 I co-founded and headed the Ark Pictures film company. Since then we have released 3 short and 3 feature films. One of them is Conference directed by Ivan I. Tverdovskiy, which took part in the Giornate degli Autori program and received a Special mention. I am also really interested in Jewish culture (primarily Diasporal), as well as its fate in the cinema. This led to creation of the Moscow Jewish Film Festival and Ark Foundation for Support and Development of the Jewish cinema. I'm married, raising a baby boy and a cat.
