Fateme Ahmadi
I am an Iranian filmmaker who graduated from the London Film School. My shorts received recognition at festivals worldwide, including BIFA-nominated BITTER SEA, and LEILA’S BLUES screened in Cannes Directors’ Fortnight. I am an alumna of Edinburgh Talent Lab, a Film London Lodestar, and a John Brabourne Awardee. In addition to my narrative work, I worked as the associate producer on the acclaimed, BIFA-nominated documentary Coup 53. It is one of the 20 Highest Rated Documentaries of All Time according to Rotten Tomatoes. I was selected by Riz Ahmed’s Left Handed Films and Pillars Fund as one of their 2022 Pillars Artist Fellows - an initiative sponsored by Netflix and Amazon Studios. I am currently preparing to make my first feature, Daughter of Eden, with the BFI and BBC Film. I am represented by Kelly Knatchbull at Sayle Screen in London.
