Gary Yong is a Malaysian-born director who has lived and worked in Canada, the US, Thailand, Singapore and is now based in Shanghai, China. Informed by his diverse cultural references and (...) perspective, he creates film content for music, fashion, and advertising with a globalized eye, but led by an innate instinct for what remains emotionally relevant in a sprawling, hybrid, digital dynasty. He continues to work internationally in commercials & music videos, short branded content, and independent film.
