Ifeyinwa Arinze

Ifeyinwa Arinze is a neuroscientist-turned-filmmaker from Nigeria and is currently based in New York City. Her work centers intimate portrayals of Black women and girls that are grounded in (...) tenderness and care. She has received support from organizations like BAFTA, NYFA, NYWIFT, Video Consortium, UnionDocs and Film at Lincoln Center. Her short films have screened at the New York African Film Festival, Aspen Shortsfest, Palm Springs International Shortfest, BlackStar Film Festival, Urbanworld Film Festival, Indie Memphis Film Festival and TIDE Film Festival.
