Inadelso Cossa its a film director, producer and cinematographer based in Mozambique, awarded with Estação Imagem – Mora prize for best documentary at FIKE – Évora International short film festival 2013 and Special Jury prize at FFER – Récife International Ethnographic film festival 2013. A Durban and Berlinale talents Alumni, his first feature length documentary: A Memory in Three Acts was funded by IDFA Bertha Fund and attended IDFAacademy for script and post production consulting, in 2016 the film was selected for first appearance competition at IDFA - International Documentary Festival Amsterdam 2016, and since then is running festivals like Goteborg International film festival 2017, Indie Lisboa - Festival International do Cinema Independente de Lisboa 2017, Durban international film festival 2017, Nuremberg International Human Rights Film Festival 2017, Zanzibar International Film Festival 2018 among other important festivals. The film was awarded with Honorable Mention Juri Prize at Festival International do Filme Etnográfico do Recife 2017, Brasil and in 2018 the film won the Special Jury Award at Zanzibar International Film Festival 2018. The prize consists in a scholarship to study film at Film Academy Baden-Württemberg in Germany supported by Robert Bosch Foundation. in 2018 was invited to be member of the IDFA Jury for short documentary competition. The film director is now working on his first fiction project called: "Karingana - The dead Tell no Tales" and a documentary called The "Nights Still Smell of Gunpowder", the documentary in development stage was already selected by IDFA Bertha Fund and awarded with development grant at the first edition of Atlas Workhop 2018, event of Marrakesh international Film festival 2018.
