What i love in editing is how you are creating time. Editing for me is each time an aventure, a new experiment : With the director, there are always a moment when we are lost, and then we find our way. In a way it's like dancing with video's tools. To hear the material, until it reveals it's secret structure. To search for the cut, that i can feel perfectly right into the music of the film. The Conversation by Coppola, edited by Walter Murch (1974) and Labyrinth Of Dreams (Yume No Ginga) by Ishii Sogo, edited by Kan Suzuki (1997)— are two models for me.
