Leila Khalilzadeh is an Iranian-Canadian filmmaker based in Montreal. She has written, directed, and produced short fiction, animation, and documentary films that have been showcased at international festivals, including Berlinale and Festival du nouveau cinéma. She has an MFA in Film Production from Concordia University, Montreal, and an MA in Cinema from the University of Art, Tehran. Leila is an alumna of Berlinale Talents and a member of Directors Guild of Canada. She has fiction and documentary projects in different stages of development and is currently working on her first feature film.
