
Awarded producer and distributor, Mayra Faour Auad, is owner-founder and CEO at MyMama Entertainment, a successful production company based in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, that was established 13 years ago, producing feature films, TV series, commercials, music videos, and branded content. In the U.S., Mayra was a partner at Passage Pictures - Los Angeles. Mayra's films have been involved in several highly awarded productions such as "Tesla", Alfred P. Sloan Prize for Best Feature Film in 2020 at Sundance FF; Noah Baumbach’s "White Noise'', Green Drop Award and Opening Night Film in 2022 at Venice FF; Anita Rocha Da Silveira’s "Medusa” premiered at the Director's Fortnight Cannes, "Fogaréu" debut feature by Flavia Neves’ winner of the Audience Award for Best Feature Film in the Berlinale / Panorama Section. Mayra has won two Int’l Emmy Awards with Fox/Disney for "Hack the City" and "Our Blood, Our Body." And she also recently launched the series "Beat Diáspora" with more than 25 million views, co-produced with KondZilla and YouTube Originals. Her filmography consists of more than 20 titles. Out of Mayra’s completed and in development films, the great majority are co-produced with well-known producers worldwide from countries such as France, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and others. Mayra is a creative producer who frequently serves as a tutor and consultant, supporting her films and nurturing emerging talents. She actively participates in prestigious professional film labs and markets worldwide, including CineMart, Berlinale Co-Production Market, Torino Meeting Event, Focus CoPro Cannes, Ontario Creates, Marché du Film, Rio2C, Rio Market and more. Mayra is an alumna of the Torino Feature Lab and EAVE Puentes and was selected for Berlinale Talents 2025. Mayra is also founding partner at the international production company Janeiro Studios, alongside Beta Films, Ilda Santiago and Koby Gal Raday
