Nino Varsimashvili was born in Georgia. She is an award-winning screenwriter and producer at ArtWay Film production. She produced several short films that won numerous international awards and have been screened at around 300 film festivals. Nino's feature film project, THE EMPTY HOUSE is short-listed for Sundance Screenwriters Lab, won the Eurimages Award at TIFF, Special Mention Prize at Locarno Festival's Open Doors and was selected at the Cannes Cinéfondation Residence. Her feature documentary project SHADOWS IN THE SILENCE won DMZ docs Award and has been selected among six projects at Doc Corner – 70th Festival de Cannes.
